Sunbrella Brand Fabric is the industry leader in Acrylic Canvas for outdoor Furniture, Awning, and Marine Grade applications.
We use the Furniture Grade Canvas for all of our California Umbrella Line Products.
Sunbrella fabrics have the highest UV hour rating in the category with a 2500 hour resistance rating and it carries a 5 year warranty against fade and mildew.
Because of the vast number of colors and styles available in the Sunbrella Line of Furniture grade fabrics; there are several levels of pricing based on the production costs of each fabric selection.
We break up the costs involved and pass our savings along to the customer by creating 3 different Grades to choose from.
Sunbrella A grade fabrics are made up of mostly standard colors and neutral tones which are not highly sensitive to sunlight and will therefore resist fade more naturally.
These include Blues, greens, tans, and many other color mixes.
Sunbrella AA fabrics have deeper colors and are mostly made up of Reds and Browns, these colors are the most sensitive to UV light and fade much faster than the single A Grade colors.
Sunbrella produces these colors with more solution dye, and UV protection in order to maintain the 5 year warranty standard they have placed on the fabric and so these colors cost a little more.
Sunbrella AAA Grade Fabrics are made up of rich colors as well, but they also include special weaves of fabric, with textures, and multiple colored fibers that add a visual dimension to the overall appearance of the fabric.
To achieve this unique appearance in the fabric, Sunbrella has a slightly higher cost than that of the AA Grade fabrics.
For Residential, or Commercial use, all the Sunbrella Fabrics perform with the same high standards; the main differences are in the production costs associated with producing the various colors and styles to achieve the same high standard of wear.
