The assembly of the glider can be accomplished by one person however, during a few of the assembly steps a helper makes it much easier and may avoid damage to the finish. It is also easier to work from a padded table or other suitable raised flat surface.
Please note. Fastener kits have been upgraded to stainless steel. Eight (8) locking style nuts are provided and separately bagged to use when securing the Four (4) Swing Arms to frame.

Find the Chair parts consisting of two (2) Backs and two (2) Seats as shown in Fig. 1. Locate eight (8) short bolts, sixteen (16) washers and eight (8) nuts for each of the two (2) Seat and Back sets to be assembled.
The Chair Seats and Backs are joined with short screws and a washer inserted from backside of Chair Back and secured with a washer and nut.
Locate two (2) Seat Frame halves, long straight front cross member and long rear cross member with rounded ends. See Fig. 2. A light tap with a soft, rubber hammer may be required to seat the tubing fully. See Fig 6. A piece of soft wood and light tap from a regular hammer will also work. Be certain to protect the finished surface from a direct blow to prevent chipping of the finish.
Locate two (2) long screws, four (4) washers and two (2) nuts. Place a washer over a screw and insert through mounting hole on front of Seat Frame. See Fig. 7. Install one end of cross member over this screw and place one additional washer on screw with a nut and finger tighten. See Fig. 7. Repeat for opposite end. Do not tighten at this time.
Chair Seat and Back are joined to frame with four (4) long screws, eight (8) washers, four (4) plastic washers and four (4) nuts. For Single Glider ONLY, please read Single Glider Assembly Notes at end of these instructions before proceeding. Plastic washers are positioned between frame and Chair with flat side facing Chair. See. Fig 8. Insert screw from outside of frame. Do not fully tighten at this time. Insert one (1) short screw with washer through front inside mounting hole of the two Chair Seat and Back Assemblies. Secure with a washer and nut. Finger tighten only at this time.

Lift Chair Seat Frame Assembly enough to allow front Swing Arm to align with mounting hole. Insert long screw with washer from outside of Swing Arm in same manner as previous step. Install remaining Swing Arms in like method. Tighten swing arms just enough to allow for movement without excessive side to side play of Chair Seat Frame inside Glider Frame.
